👩‍🏫 What is a plural noun?

A plural noun refers to more than one person, place, or thing.
In English, we usually add -s → book → books.
In Spanish, we also change the ending of the word and sometimes the article too.

✨ Rules for making nouns plural in Spanish

Rule	Example	Translation
Ends in a vowel → add -s	casa → casas	house → houses
Ends in a consonant → add -es	papel → papeles	paper → papers
Ends in -z → change to -ces	luz → luces	light → lights

And don’t forget to change the article!

el libro	los libros
la flor	las flores
un amigo	unos amigos
una chica	unas chicas
